The Highgate is available as a limited edition of six dining tables, each made-to-order using wood from a cedar tree that grew in Highgate, close to London’s Hampstead Heath.
Each table is crafted from one of six 5cm slices of timber milled lengthwise from the tree’s trunk. Each of these ‘slabs’ is unique, displaying the tree's natural character and history across its full width.
Designed to seat 6-8 people, the Highgate features natural ‘live edges’ or the option of a more formal square edge, and a choice of three leg styles. Each table is marked with the Fallen & Felled logo and its tree location, and a certificate of provenance.
The Highgate is part of the Fallen & Felled London Tree collection, furniture made sustainably from trees felled in and around London due old age or to make space for development. We salvage these trees - which would otherwise be burned - milling them into timber and giving them a second life.

Each table is handmade by our team of furniture makers in London, and delivered to you within 8 weeks.
Free delivery inside M25
We will deliver your table free of charge to any address inside the M25 motorway. The table will be securely flat packed, requiring you to simply screw on the legs. We will happily do this if you can provide us with easy access into the room on the agreed day of delivery.
Delivery outside M25
After you order, our team will contact you with a quote for transporting to your address. As a guide, we charge £90 for a kerbside delivery by courier to locations in England, Wales and Scotland. We will invoice you for the delivery charge prior to delivery.

Live
Both sides of the table follow the curves and character of the tree bark. Also known as a 'waney' edge, it provides a natural organic look.
Square
The live edges are removed to give the edges and ends of the table the same rounded profile. A square edge offers a sharper more precise look.

We make our furniture using timber we mill ourselves from felled urban trees - trees that would otherwise be destroyed.
We are the only company that does this. It makes are furniture super local, sustainable and carbon negative.
