Making furniture creates plenty of sawdust, but rather than see it go to waste we pass it on to the gardeners next door to our Camden workshop. They use it as mulch, add it to compost and even use it in mushroom growing kits.
The garden is run by Castlehaven Community Association, who host community gardening sessions every Wednesday from 10.30am to 1.30pm, along with workshops covering a range of gardening topics. To find out more, email environmentalteam@castlehaven.org.uk
