The Lea Bridge Library Pavilion - featuring recycled timber sourced by Fallen & Felled - won two awards for architects Studio Weave at the Waltham Forest Design Awards last week.

Fallen & Felled worked with furniture designer Sebastian Cox on the project to source over 25 cubic metres of wood from salvaged London trees, which he used to make the wall panelling and furniture.

We milled and kiln dried the wood, which included London plane, sycamore, poplar, ash, oak, sequoia and horse chestnut. Reuse was a strong theme in the design of this extension to the Grade-II listed Lea Bridge Library.
