A really understated soft hardwood, lime is pale white to light cream with a subtle grain pattern.

It's lovely to work with and the perfect choice for carving. A little effort and it will polish up like glass.

Most of the old lime trees we mill are city grown so the timber shows lots of colour and darker streaks.
