Freelance, Part-Time – Camden
£12–£15 per hour depending on experience
If you enjoy working with wood, photography and online selling – and like the idea of helping shape a specialist hardwood shop – this could suit you well.
Fallen & Felled recovers trees felled in and around London and turns them into furniture-grade hardwood. We supply furniture makers, designers and craftspeople across the UK, and our online shop allows customers nationwide to buy individual boards with character and history.
Job description
We’re looking for someone to take real responsibility for preparing and listing boards for sale from our Camden workshop.
You’ll select individual boards from stock, photograph them, write clear and accurate descriptions, and upload them to our website. You’ll also pick, pack and dispatch sold boards, ensuring customers receive timber reliably using national couriers.
This role combines practical hands-on work with structured organisation. You’ll be moving and handling boards, working methodically through stock and photographing them clearly online so customers can choose with confidence.
There is scope to refine and improve how the shop operates over time – but we’re looking for someone who can work efficiently from the outset, take initiative and keep momentum without close supervision.
Experience working with wood or furniture making is preferred. Alongside this, we value reliability, organisation, problem solving ability and initiative.
This is a freelance role based at our Camden workshop. Hours by agreement, but ideally spread across four half-days per week to ensure the shop remains current and responsive.
How to apply
