A stunning rich timber used for tables, shelves and cabinetry.
Black walnut has a darker tone, whilst English walnut features lighter swirlier heartwood and paler sapwood. We get both, mosty from city gardens, but they are something of a rarity.
The most expensive of UK hardwoods.
