Elm - Character Burr Boards

Exquisite kiln-dried elm character burr boards sourced from a felled tree on the South Circular Road in London.

Board A
Characterful elm board featuring medium pip, burr, natural shakes and small areas of ingrown bark. The board has straight edges, two working faces and attractive wavy grain, with rich dark brown tones complemented by lighter cream colouring. There is a low spot on the reverse which can be easily sanded to create a smooth, even surface. This distinctive elm board would make a fantastic shelf.

Board B
Rustic elm board featuring medium pip, burr, natural shakes and small areas of ingrown bark, with striking wavy grain and rich dark brown and cream colouring. This board has one live edge, one straight edge and two working faces. There are also some old woodworm holes confined to the bark.

Thicknessed both sides as seen in images. The boards are marked A-B and priced for sale individually.
