Elm - Live Edge Burr Boards

Exquisite kiln-dried elm live edge burr boards sourced from a felled tree on the South Circular Road in London.

Board A
This premium Grade 1 elm board showcases attractive light pip and beautiful natural burr, complemented by gently wavy grain patterns and striking silvery and chocolate brown tones. It features a few medium-sized knots, a very small area of ingrown bark, light spalting across the upper section and natural splits that enhance its character. With two live edges and two fully workable faces, this fantastic elm slab would be ideal for shelving.

Board B
This stunning burr elm board features heavy burr with beautifully flowing wavy grain patterns and rich natural character throughout. Natural shakes and medium-sized knots enhance its unique appearance, while the reverse contains small areas of ingrown bark. Two workable faces with live edges that preserve the tree's natural shape, and although the bark contains a few woodworm holes, the timber itself remains completely sound and intact.

Thicknessed both sides as seen in images. The boards are marked A-B and priced for sale individually.
