London Plane - Spalted Boards

Exquisite kiln-dried London plane spalted boards sourced from a felled tree in London, showcasing exceptional natural character and unique colouring.

Board A
Grade 2 burry London plane board featuring heavy burr and areas of medium lace with striking wavy grain throughout. The board displays subtle natural shakes and a few historic woodworm holes that can be easily filled. Beautiful spalting appears across the upper section, enhancing its distinctive appearance with pink, dark blue and cream tones. It has one straight edge and one live edge, along with two usable working faces, making it ideal for furniture projects such as a desk or console table.

Board B
A heavily spalted London plane board with medium burr and pip. This board features pronounced spalting, natural shakes and minor splits, combined with attractive straight grain and soft pink and cream colouring. It has one live edge and one straight edge, with two working faces and would make the most fantastic stylish shelf once finished.

Thicknessed both sides as seen in images. The boards are marked A-B and priced for sale individually.
