Oak - Character Boards

Board A
Grade 2 kiln-dried oak board sourced from a felled tree in Hawkhurst, featuring heavy pip and burr that create plenty of distinctive character. This delightful oak board has small knots and minor ingrown bark, alongside some splits and checks. The attractive mix of wavy and straight grains showcases warm sandy brown tones with contrasting creamy sap. Some low spots are present, which can be easily sanded out. Featuring two live edges and two working faces, this oak board would make a lovely live edge shelf.

Board B
Grade 1 kiln-dried quarter-sawn oak board sourced from a felled tree in Liphook, displaying attractive straight grains and prominent medullary rays. The golden brown tones are beautifully complemented by contrasting creamy sap. Featuring straight edges and minor ingrown bark on the back, this premium oak board has a few minor checks and shakes at one end.

Thicknessed both sides as seen in images. The boards are marked A-B and priced for sale individually.

Internet sale only. These boards are not available to browse or purchase in our London shop. The Fallen & Felled mug shown in the photograph is for size indication only.
