Sycamore - Waney Edge Board

Elegant kiln-dried sycamore board sourced from a felled tree in Cambridge. This characterful flamed sycamore board features distinctive wavy grain patterns with attractive pink tones, copper streaks and contrasting creamy sapwood.

This rustic sycamore board has multiple splits, checks and shakes, along with areas of soft rot and some old woodworm holes. Low spots on the front face can be easily sanded out.

Featuring mostly waney edges, with one section of saw-cut edge on the bottom right-hand side, this board offers two working faces and plenty of rustic charm. Thicknessed both sides as seen in images.

Internet sale only. These boards are not available to browse or purchase in our London shop. The Fallen & Felled mug shown in the photograph is for size indication only.
