Sustainable plane & elm tables for Bubala restaurant

Sustainable plane & elm tables for Bubala restaurant

We made richly grained wooden tables from repurposed London plane and elm for Bubala King’s Cross – the third offering from the team behind much-loved Middle Eastern vegetarian restaurants in Shoreditch and Soho.

Bubala King's Cross is a gorgeous space that blends warmth, texture and sustainability. Our tables sit at the heart of that experience: the London plane came from trees felled across the capital; the elm was salvaged from Brighton after being lost to Dutch Elm Disease — both given a second life in this vibrant restaurant.

Rather than being chipped, burned or wasted, these trees now live on in a setting that celebrates care, craft and good food.
