Stylish kiln-dried black walnut straight edge boards sourced from a felled tree in Addington Palace Golf Course, Croydon.
Board A
This stunning board showcases an extraordinary blend of rich brown, red, orange, purple, dark blue and black tones, featuring attractive wavy grain, straight edges and two fully usable faces. This board contains a few small knots and natural shakes that enhance its unique character.
The reverse has a few shallow low spots that can be easily sanded, while a small blade mark remains in one corner. The front of the board was lightly oiled for photography to highlight the spectacular grain and colour before being sanded back to its natural finish.
Board B
Exceptional kiln-dried board boasting remarkable natural colour variation, with striking shades of brown, red, orange, purple, dark blue and black flowing through beautiful wavy grain. With straight edges, natural shakes and two usable faces, this board certainly has distinctive character.
The reverse has one shallow low spot that can be easily sanded, and there is a small blade mark in one corner. As with Board A, the front was lightly oiled solely for photography to enhance the grain and colour before being sanded back.
Thicknessed both sides as seen in images. The boards are marked A-B and priced for sale individually.
