Yew - Character Boards

Fantastic kiln-dried yew live edge character boards sourced from a felled tree in London. These beautiful yew boards feature a striking combination of natural colour, character and stylish grain, making them ideal for rustic designer shelves.

Board A
Beautiful Grade 2 live edge board featuring a few medium-sized knots, several natural shakes and splits and attractive waney grain. The board has two live edges and two working faces and displays warm orangey-pinky tones throughout, complemented by very light spalting in the sapwood.

Board B
Attractive Grade 2 live edge board featuring a few small areas of ingrown bark, light pip and subtle spalting through the sapwood. There is a large natural split caused by the bark, adding to the board's rustic character. The timber showcases beautiful pink, orange and red tones with predominantly straight grain and features two live edges and two working faces.

Thicknessed both sides as seen in images. The boards are marked A-B and priced for sale individually.

We offer courier delivery to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales within 2–4 days of purchase. The delivery charge is calculated at checkout and is usually £15 per order.

Delivery to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and other offshore locations can be arranged on request but will incur additional courier costs and a longer delivery time.
