We were delighted to be featured in the FT’s How To Spend It / HTSI magazine this weekend, in a two page article about designer Zoe Chan and her meticulous restoration of The Ground House in Hampstead.

Zoe spoke about her commitment to low-impact design and mentioned Fallen & Felled as the makers behind the extensive London plane panelling used throughout the home. The timber came from two London plane trees felled in the capital – trees that, like so many, would otherwise have been chipped, burned or left to rot.

Instead, those trees now live on as long-lasting materials in a home designed to last. It’s why we do what we do: rescuing London’s fallen hardwoods and turning them into something beautiful, useful and enduring.
